Ark was formed in 2005 as a platform for mixing DJ elements such as samples, loops and grooves, with live acoustic instruments (such as drumkit), electronics, Rhodes and other keyboards. Various samples and beats are triggered live, and used as a basis for original tunes incorporating funk, jazz, groove, lounge and dub elements.
